Are you planning a December Daily Album this year?

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by!!  But nevertheless, I was determined to do a December Daily album this year and, to make it easier I wanted to have it complete - sans photos - before December 1.

For those of you who are not familiar with the concept - check out Ali Edwards blog here at http://aliedwards.com/projects/
As for me, I am so excited - not only is my first  December Daily album finished and ready for photos, I 've made the album itself as well and it has been ready for over a week!!!!!

Classes Coming to Scrappers Delite

I just wanted to share these sneak peeks with you - these will be classes at Scrappers
Delite - check with Sharon for details

So I thought I would take part in a challenge

I just love the Color Room - it is a fantastic place to get ideas and to stretch your creative mojo.
Here is what I submitted this week

Time is flying by!!

Well I did clean up my desk - but it didn't stay very clean for very long

I have been busy in a more creative way so I thought I would share some pics with you
I've finally made a new christmas wreath for our front door - it needs a bit more bling but I haven't made up my mind about that yet.  This will be offered as a private class - just drop a comment to let me know you are interested.  The paper depicted is from Basic Grey's Fruitcake range (sorry Sally, I couldn't get Wassail)

Paper Quilt Project

Hi All - while I've been cleaning up my desk I found the "startings" of a project I was inspired to do by Christine Middlecamp at http://retrospection.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/05/the-embellished-paper-doily-part-three.html
I've managed to get hold of some of the paper doilys that were used by Christine - so I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me in completing their own Embellished Doily project?
Leave me a comment so I know to put some doilys away for you

What a Mess!!!

Ya know it is a wonder my husband doesn't divorce me - especially when you realise that this mess is in our lounge room!!!

So I thought this might help  - one of the new desktop organiser's from Kaiser

Of course - I'll have to decorate it first !! LOL

My Little Sis and little Graphic 45.....and a giveaway

Hi All, I know this paper has been around for a while, but I didn't have the heart to cut it until I was reading a blog recently that quoted the Allen's adv - "Chop it, Chop it" so I sort of did.

Layout itself was inspired by a layout on Scrapbook.com that used Bo Bunny papers - amazing how two layouts that are essentially alike are also completely different.

BTW:  I also have a little parcel of Tim Holtz goodies to give away - catch is you have to be a follower and get another person to sign up as a follower.
- Don't forget to let me know who you referred  - one qualifying follower will be selected at random at the end of  the month - evening of the 30th.

Orchid Inspiration Layout

Well I finally got this finished!  Once I started with the Kindy Glitz, things slowed down from there LOL.
I am happy with the result, let me know what you think.   And yes the top part is unashamedly inspired by the header on Rhonna Farrer's lovely blog.

Orchid Inspiration

I was sitting having a latte this morning, enjoying some people watching when I spied these orchids in a shop window.

I thought I could do something with them on a layout, given that I am enjoying whitework lately I am inspired by these to do a bit more.......stay tuned to see what I come up with

Calling all Cuttlebugging Card Makers!!!!

And other die cutting machine users  of course - I just wanted to let you know I have sourced some new dies from a company called Marianne Design and they are just gorgeous.  Very detailed (similiar to Spellbinders)
and at reasonable price points.

I had a play with the Butterfly last night - couldn't resist and I was very impressed with how well it cut - especially considering how fine the detail is. These dies all cut and emboss - instructions regarding which plates to use are included in the packaging.
This particular plate only embosses and the packaging contains some reallty clear instructions regarding use.

All are sized with cardmakers in mind, but could be used for scrapbooking and other paper crafts as well.

I only have limited numbers of these so let me know if you would like some more info - all are priced under $20.00
cheers for now - I am off to play some more

A Kid in a Candy Shop!!

Martha Stewart has arrived!!!!.....well her punches have anyway........drool

This deep edge Daisy Fan has to be one of my favourites

Hydrangea is another cute one

Is it too early to start thinking about christmas cards? This ornament edge punch would be just perfect!!

Another deep edge punch - Garden Trellis is over the top and gorgeous!

I've also received stocks from  Tim Holtz and Spellbinders:

Bits and Pieces from Tim Holtz's Idealogy range

These border dies from Spellbinders are simply gorgeous - alll are 12" and are very detailed so you can cut, emboss and stencil all with the one die.

I have limited numbers of these - so be quick!! Let me know if you want me to put these aside for the next Crop-a-lot day - Friday 6th August - starting at 2.00pm
Bye for now - I'm off to do some punching...cutllebugging.....grungey stuff?????
