Decided to take a day off and took son to the Movies.
We saw the new version of the Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" in 3D - Got to say, I think this is my favourite adaptation to date. The detail in the graphics was fantastic - and some parts we truly felt like we were flying!!! It's great to take a moment and view life through the eyes of a child.

Spending Spree
Of sorts anyway, went out yesterday and made a few purchases. Hopefully, they'll be used when we set up classes for graduation albums. Lots of bright, primary colours, and all double sided - so mums get more bang for their buck!
Ooops
No wonder I wasn't feeling the love....still getting the hang of this blogging thing.
I've got the comments thingy working now, so feel free to drop a line.

Some more layouts
Yeah I know, the paper is really old, the page design is one we've all done before - (I like to think of it as "tried and true") But I just like the way this one works. And, it used up stuff from my stash...which I really need to do now
Does anybody know where I can get some more Wild Asparagus?
For some reason, you don't see a lot of Delish Designs product around, shame really and I want to fix that!
I never feel really comfortable doing heritage type pages, but I really enjoyed putting this one together - paper from Bella!
One of my dad, gosh he was a handsome man....
Goodness - another "Blank" - I seriously need to put some photos on these layouts, they look soooo lonely without faces
And one more basic page finished off with some tulle and lots of loverly prima flowers
....drum roll please
I can't wait for US to come on line.....www.basicgrey.com launches their new website today 10-12-2009
WOW!!! Who Knew?
Ok - so I have finally caught up and joined the blogging community. After being pestered for what seems like forever, I've finally decided to "just do it"
So here it is, my first blog post.
So here it is, my first blog post.
Over the coming months, I will use this blog to support the business side of Art of Hearts. The blog will be the place to keep up with all the background news and gossip about how much fun I am having exploring the forays of a new business venture.
This would not have happened without some pleading, begging and a real good shove. For those that provided the really big shove - I thank you from the centre of my art (pardon the pun)

So let's get started....I'm soooo excited to let you all know that the business "Art of Hearts Scrapbooking" is now registered and the site should be live and fully operational by the start of the 2010 school year. Wholesale accounts have been created, so if there is any particular brand or product you want me to investigate just let me know.
In the meantime, I'll post some of my recent work, so you know what I have been up to since I stopped teaching for someone else:
